Summer...Day 5: All about the boy

What day isn't all about the boy? Today was especially boy-oriented when I realized it was "boycott nap" day. Thuglet is currently teething and he just got his four month vaccines a couple of days ago so naps have been fairly difficult to procure.

Despite his nap deprivation I was able to get on with "Organization 2013." And of course it revolved around him.

In the morning, we went to the park and walked. Well, I walked and he strolled! It was beautiful and he really likes to be outside. It was also nice for me because I got some exercise. This included his one semi-long nap of the day.

His room has never been completely emptied of all our junk since it started as our "random crap room" when we moved in two years ago. I was finally able to empty the closet of all our stuff and find a place for all of Thuglet's stuff.

 Before today all his stuff was scattered all over the house. His pacifiers were in a jar on the front console table. His diapers and other related objects were in our room. His toys were in the living room. At this point, all of his belongings are organized in his room.

It feels good!

Also Thuglet related, washing of the diapers. All of the diapers. He was showing the beginnings of a yeast infection. One things about cloth diapers is they can hold the yeast. To get rid of it, they need to be washed on hot with a few drops tea tree oil. Thuglet was outfitted with a disposable diaper and Husby went to washing all of the dipes.

Lastly, I was able to show Husby that his son really does look like him or at least a past version of him. Most people say he resembles my side, but after seeing the resemblance in the photos I think he is a pretty even combo of us both.
